Editing is the critical process of making draft material ready for final publication. It's a vital step in ensuring that your material is clear, logical and a pleasure to read.

Editing ranges from a light 'sub-edit' to remove typos and smooth out sentences to 'substantive' editing. Here we might rewrite sentences to improve readability and clarity, or to reduce ambiguity. We often also restructure passages or whole documents to increase impact, reduce repetition, better adhere to convention, fit copy to a design or simply make material more succinct.
